Casual Bus Drivers

Wide Bay Transit operate public passenger and school buses services on the Fraser Coast as well other areas. We are currently looking for casual bus drivers to fill position the following areas:

• Hervey Bay
• Maryborough
• Glenwood (School bus service three days per week)

Successful applicants would need an MR licence (at a minimum) and have, or be able to obtain, a Driver’s Authorisation through Queensland Transport.

Wide Bay Transit pay under the Passenger Vehicle Transport Award (Grade 4 Casual currently $35.27 per hour).

Fully Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Wide Bay Transit is seeking a trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic for a permanent full time position in our Hervey Bay depot on the beautiful Fraser Coast. Wide Bay Transit has a fleet of 70 buses based over two depots so this job will involve travel to the WBT Maryborough depot from time to time and breakdown callouts as required.  Bus experience preferred but not essential.  HR Licence preferred but not essential.  Must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
